Tecimer is a foreign trade company. However, its only customer is international aid organizations.

Works for the UN in Rize

Tecimer’s field of activity is foreign trade, but it has only one customer. That is the UN, that is the United Nations.
Since 1996, the company has been in the UN’s hunger tenders. It has won many auctions until today. It exports all kinds of products needed to various regions of the world from Africa to the Far East. The export turnover in 2005 is approximately 2 million dollars.

Selling goods even to Eritrea

Tecimer started its first activity by supplying materials to aid organizations in Georgia. It has also exported to Sierra Leone, Eritrea, Burundi, Ivory Coast, Congo, Pakistan and Jordan.

The products that the company exports consist of many different items such as plow, irrigation systems, hammer, sledgehammer, welding lamp, cleaning agents, barbed wire, pile iron, trailer and box.

The boss of Tecimer Dış Ticaret, Hasan Tecimer, states that after the success they achieved in Georgia, they entered the supplier list of many non-governmental organizations in the world in a short time. Then he adds:
“In difficult times, we made rapid and successful deliveries to difficult addresses, we announced our reputation in Georgia to many non-governmental organizations in the world in a short time. Today we are on the list of many non-governmental organizations. We are registered with these organizations.”

Suppliers of 21 organizations

There are 21 international organizations such as the International Development Organization, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) among the organizations that registered Tecimer’s certificate and is a supplier today.
It should be noted that Tecimer Foreign Trade, which supplied blankets to earthquake victims after the Pakistan earthquake that occurred last year, broke a record by sending 20 thousand blankets to lslamabat in 3 days.
Providing the products needed by the UN, Tecimer Foreign Trade also develops products suitable for different climatic conditions. “We developed a winter tent with a patent of our own. These tents are currently used by earthquake victims at an altitude of 4,000 meters in Pakistan,” says Hasan Tecimer.

Tecimer Dış Ticaret won the tent tender opened by the United Nations in the 1999 Marmara earthquake. The tent city established was opened by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.
